Brouwerij De Bock
In the spring of 2018, De Bock Brewery opened its doors, an initiative of brewing engineer Pieter De Bock. His brewing career started as a production manager at Brouwerij Affligem, and from 2012 to 2019 he fulfilled the role of head brewer at Brouwerij Anders. Nowadays you can find Pieter at The Musketeers Brewery in Sint-Gillis-Waas.
Despite his experience elsewhere, the desire for his own brewing project continued to tickle. This was achieved in 2015 with the launch of Remi Blond, a craft specialty beer that quickly became popular and grew into a popular regional product.
In 2021, Jordi Bruynseels joined the company, taking on the commercial aspect of the brewery. At the same time, the range was expanded with the introduction of a new beer called Desideer.
In February 2022, Alain Dufait also joined the company. With extensive management experience in the malting industry and a Master in Malting & Brewing Science from the University of Leuven, Alain adds his expertise to the growing success story of Brouwerij De Bock.
