Ambreus Oude Geuze is a refined blend of three different lambics, matured in Italian and French oak barrels. The wort for this gueuze is supplied by renowned breweries such as DenHerberg, Lindemans and DeTroch. Each lambic matures separately in oak barrels to develop a unique character.

After barrel maturation, 1, 2 and 3 year old lambics are carefully selected and blended to create a harmonious and fruity flavor profile. This blend then undergoes a natural second fermentation in the bottle, which produces an elegant, complex Oude Geuze.

The name “Ambreus” combines Ambrosia, the divine food of the Greek gods, with “Geus”, an ancient spelling of gueuze, which together symbolizes a timeless and divine drinking experience.
