The Pannepot Grand Reserva is a special beer with a rich history. After 14 months of aging in a French oak barrel, the beer is transferred to a Calvados cask for a further 8 months, giving it a special and limited edition of only 30 hl every 2 years. The Struise brewery in Vleteren is responsible for this unique beer, made from barley malt, hops, herbs, candy sugar and yeast. The dark color of the beer is crowned with a creamy, beige head. The aroma has clear malt notes and a hint of vanilla and dried fruit, accentuated by the spices. When tasting this beer you will discover how the aging process in oak barrels has contributed to the flavours, with caramel, fruit, coffee and hops more developed through aging. In short, the Pannepot Grand Reserva is a delicious beer with a distinct character and a unique taste that is worth tasting.
