Brouwerij De Dolle Brouwers

Brewery De Dolle Brouwers is a specialty beer brewery in Esen, a sub-municipality of Diksmuide. Here they have taken over an empty brewery.

The name comes from the cycling club 'De Dolle Dravers', which consisted of 4 members, including 2 brothers. They had a wealth of knowledge of regional beer culture and therefore wanted to do something about it. Their first beer called Oerbier was released in 1980.

The adventure started with experimenting at home, with natural ingredients and secondary fermentation in the bottle. Since 1980 they have been able to further expand their range with beers such as Arabier, Oerbier, Boskeun, Dulle Teve, Stille Nacht, Stout and Reserva.

During a visit to the brewery you will receive a tour and afterwards you can enjoy the Oerbar.
