Brouwerij De Graal
Brouwerij De Graal was founded by Wim Saeyens and his wife Geertrui Loman in 2002. In 2000 they bought a stonecutting shop with a house where they built the brewery after many adjustments.
In 2010, the brewing installation was completely renovated. The brewery grew steadily and in a controlled manner. In 2016 they moved to a new modern brewery on the industrial estate in Brakel.
The name 'The Grail' refers to the holy grail. The cup from which Christ is said to have drunk at the Last Supper. It symbolizes the 'eternal' search for the 'perfect' beer.
