Brouwerij De Troch
Brouwerij De Troch is located in an old farmhouse that was bought in 1795 by Joannes Franciscus De Troch and Theresia Cortvriendt.
The brewery remained in the hands of several De Troch generations. In 1936, Louis De Troch took over the brewery. He had no children and was the last De Troch in the brewery. In 1974 Jos Raes, Louis' cousin, and his wife Myriam Vanderhasselt take over the brewery. In 2002, son Pauwel Raes joined the business and took it over in 2012 together with his wife.
De Troch was the first brewery to combine Gueuze with exotic fruit (De Chapeau beers).
