Cuvée des Jacobins is a lambic from the Omer Vander Ghinste brewery, matured in oak barrels for 18 months.
The beer has a beautiful amber color that tends towards red and a fine pink foam head. The aromas of malt, caramel, cherry, grape and dried fruit are expressed against a woody background.
On the palate, this beer is soft, sour and fruity with flavors of cherry, caramel, red wine, dried fruit and vanilla, again accompanied by a woody touch. The beer has a medium body, an oily texture and a light carbonation. The aftertaste is dry and sour, with a slight bitterness that rounds off the whole nicely.
