This special Maxima Calvados BA is a barrel-aged variant of the classic Maxima, with a six-month maturation in fresh Calvados barrels for a unique taste experience. Like the standard version, the beer starts with a pronounced sweetness and a hint of fruit. Despite the higher alcohol content, the sweetness remains pleasantly present, making the alcohol nicely integrated. The influence of barrel aging adds subtle but characterful nuances.
