Dochter Tout Va Bien was inspired by a question that arose during a tour of a port house in Porto: why is the process of fortification with alcohol and long-term aging in wood not applied to beer? This led to an innovative project at De Dochter van de Korenaar.

At an early stage of fermentation, grain alcohol is added to a strength of 20%, which stops fermentation and creates a sweet, alcohol-rich drink. After clarification, this "malt port" matures for years in oak barrels, the oldest barrels of which are now an average of 8.5 years old (2024).

Tout Va Bien is based on a blond beer, unlike Rien Ne Va Plus, which is based on a dark beer. This sweet fortified barley wine has an alcohol content of 19% and undergoes a unique maturation in wooden barrels, a process that "portorizes" the beer. The 6-year version is currently available (2024), with an 8-year version in the near future. The beer has a complex aroma of myrrh and heather blossom, and offers a rich, refined taste experience.
