A few centuries later, this gave rise to the beer specialist shop Beer Paradise and the web shop Belgian Beer Heaven. Kempen beer by Sterkens from Meer
Sterkens Brewery originated as one of many Belgian home breweries, in the barn of Gerardus Sterkens' farm in Meer, a borough of Hoogstraten in the Antwerp Kempen region. For 14 generations, the family has been brewing old, handed-down recipes. You can taste that age-old tradition and knowledge in every glass of Sterkens beer. This has not escaped foreign notice either. Today, about 95% of these typical Belgian beers are sold abroad.
