Thanks to its exceptionally long maturation in an upright oak foeder of 65,000 liters, this matured beer shows an even more intense wood character. Just like the classic Grand Cru, this Evolved variant is refined by adding a small amount of young Rodenbach. The organic flavors developed during the prolonged barrel aging demonstrate remarkable purity and include notes of sour cherry, green apple, leather, oak and candied red fruits. These flavors are further refined by the positive influence of the unparalleled long wood aging. It is the ultimate proof that Flemish Red-brown beer has extraordinary maturing capabilities and, thanks to its 10-year barrel aging, adds even more complexity and harmony to the beer.
