Brasserie de Bertinchamps
The family looked for a location of character to establish a new brewery and continue the tradition of their father, Benoît Humblet, of brewing an extensive line of beers.
In 2011 they discovered the old square farm of Bertinchamps, located near Gembloux in the middle of fields in a breathtaking setting. Unfortunately, the farm was in a dilapidated state and required thorough renovation. Without hesitation they got to work themselves.
In March 2013, their ultra-modern brewing installation, with an annual capacity of 6,000 hectoliters, was installed in the centuries-old barns. This created a striking contrast between cutting-edge technology and a location that is more than seven centuries old.
The water for their beers is extracted from 66 meters underground, and the hops and malt are carefully selected. The 50 cl bottles invite you to share the beer with a friend... Cheers!
