Brasserie Dupont
Dupont Brewery was originally a farm built in 1759. In 1844 it was transformed into a farm-brewery 'Rimaux-Deridder', specialized in the production of Bière de Miel and Saison beer.
In 1920, Alfred Dupont bought this farm brewery for his son Louis Dupont to dissuade him from emigrating to Canada.
At that time, Louis Dupont used the basic recipe of the Saison beer, now known as Saison Dupont.
Louis' cousin, Sylva Rosier, took over the brewery in 1945.
His son Marc Rosier started brewing organic beers.
In 1990, Olivier Dedeycker, grandson of Sylva Rosier, joined the brewery as the 4th generation.
