Scheldebrouwerij
Scheldebrouwerij has its origins in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands, where it was founded in 1994 by Peter van den Eijnden and Kees van Loenhout, both members of the Bergsche brewers guild.
Due to its growing success, the brewery moved to 's-Gravenpolder in the province of Zeeland.
In the search for further capacity expansion, it was finally decided to establish itself in Flanders.
Since 2008, the brewery has been located in Hoogstraten, with Peter van der Eijnden still serving as brewmaster.
The connection with the hometown of Bergen op Zoom is still visible in their house style, with the crab in the logo referring to "Krabbegat".
