Allgäuer Brauhaus
Allgäu is one of the oldest breweries in Germany.
Its history goes back to the time of the Celts. The Monks of the Abbey of St.Gallen were the first to brew commercial beer in Kempten.
Since the 1950s there was the first Allgäu Büble beer. Fathers sent their children to the inns to fetch open mugs of beer and bring them home. Since then Allgäu has remembered this tradition with the Allgäu Büble beer.
