De Kustbrouwerij
De Kustbrouwerij was started in 2010 as a home brewery.
There was a lot of experimentation with, among other things, typical regional ingredients from the dunes of Middelkerke. The name of the beer was coined when searching for these ingredients. The brewer suddenly saw a fluffy animal with long ears diving into a hole, a Dunekeun. Dunekeun is the West Flemish for dune rabbit.
From June 2014, the first beer 'Dunekeun Goudblond' will be put into the world.
