Brasserie de Bertinchamps

The Humblet family went in search of a unique and characterful location to set up their own brewery and continue the beer tradition of their father Benoît Humblet. In 2011, their search led them to an old square farm in Bertinchamps, near Gembloux, located in the middle of the rolling countryside. The farm exuded history, but was in a very neglected state. Determined, they set about a thorough renovation themselves.

Two years later, in March 2013, an ultra-modern brewing installation was installed in the centuries-old barns, with a capacity of 6,000 hectolitres per year. The contrast between modern brewing technology and the centuries-old heritage creates a unique atmosphere that perfectly reflects the character of the brewery.

For their beers, they use pure water pumped from a depth of 66 metres, in combination with carefully selected malt and hops. And as befits beers with character, they come in robust 50cl bottles — ideal for sharing. Cheers!
