De Kazematten
The Ypres city brewery Kazematten is the creative brainchild of Hans Depypere (Brewery St.Bernardus) and Rudi Ghequire (Brewmaster at Rodenbach) and was founded in 2014.
The casemates or soutterains in which the brewery is located are part of the 17th century fortifications that surround the city of Ypres.
